Reunion of Broken Parts: Album Launch

  • The Caves 12 Niddry Street South Edinburgh, Scotland, EH1 1NS United Kingdom (map)

Idiogram launch their compelling and multifaceted debut album ‘Reunion of Broken Parts’ with a full play through accompanied by live visuals by Sam Healy.

Drawing on a broad range of influences from post-prog, rock, electronic, ambient and classical music, Reunion of Broken Parts makes no apologies. Ambitious and unyielding, the album weaves through the labyrinth of the band’s collective psyche, the result is an unpredictable and enthralling musical journey which spans from sparse ambience to wall-of-sound via bold riffs and delicate melodies. Live, the band use a blend of typical instrumentation, samples and soundscapes, live synthesis, and digital processing, to deliver a huge and creatively dynamic sound that is both unexpected and captivating.
